ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM / LG UltraGear OLED 45GR95QE-B

ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM: PG32UCDM, 31.5-inch 4K 240 Hz QD-OLED. The similarly named PG32UCDP and the 27-inch PG27UCDM are separate products.

LG UltraGear OLED 45GR95QE-B: 45GR95QE-B: 44.5-inch 800R curved OLED, 3440 × 1440, 240 Hz. The 2024 45GS95QE-B, the 5K2K 45GX950A-B and the 39-inch 39GS95QE are separate models.

Panel31.5-inch QD-OLED; 3840 × 2160 (16:9); 240 Hz; 0.03 ms (GtG); 10-bit; 0.182 mm pixel pitch; anti-reflection surface

In QD-OLED, blue OLED light is converted to red and green by quantum dots, keeping colours saturated. The semi-glossy surface can make blacks look grey in a bright room.

ASUS
44.5-inch (113 cm) OLED, 800R curve; 3440 × 1440 (21:9); 0.303 mm pixel pitch

800R means the screen curves like part of a circle with an 800 mm radius, wrapping the edges around your view. At 45 inches, 1440p gives low pixel density: up close, text and fine detail look less sharp than on a 27-inch 1440p screen.

LG
Brightness and contrastHDR peak 1000 cd/m²; contrast 1,500,000:1

1000 cd/m² is a peak reached on a small part of the screen; full-screen white is much dimmer. ASUS notes the value can vary due to pre-calibration.

ASUS
200 cd/m² typical (160 minimum); typical contrast 1,500,000:1

LG’s typical brightness refers to a full-screen SDR image; with self-emissive OLED pixels black switches fully off, giving very high contrast.

LG
Colour and HDR99% DCI-P3; HDR10 and Dolby Vision; VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black; factory calibration e-report ASUS—
SyncAdaptive-Sync; FreeSync Premium Pro; G-SYNC Compatible; ELMB

ELMB is a mode that inserts black between frames to reduce motion blur.

ASUS
—
Inputs1 × DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC); 2 × HDMI 2.1 (FRL); 1 × USB-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode, 90 W power delivery)

4K 240 Hz 10-bit over DisplayPort 1.4 uses Display Stream Compression (DSC). The 90 W USB-C port can drive and charge a laptop over a single cable.

ASUS
—
USB and audio3 × USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A hub; KVM switch; earphone jack; S/PDIF optical out; no speakers

KVM lets two computers share the same keyboard and mouse through the monitor.

ASUS

OLED careASUS OLED Care; proximity sensor; flicker-free

The proximity sensor dims the screen when the user leaves the desk to reduce burn-in risk; some owners wrote that they turned it off.

Refresh rate and response time—240 Hz; 0.03 ms (GtG)

240 Hz shows very smooth motion when a game approaches 240 frames per second, which needs a powerful graphics card. 0.03 ms grey-to-grey describes the fast transition of OLED pixels; it is not total input lag.

LG
Colour—DCI-P3 98.5% (typical, CIE1976), 90% minimum; 1.07 billion colours; factory calibrated; hardware calibration ready

Hardware calibration writes settings into the monitor itself through LG Calibration Studio, so the colour setup stays with the monitor even if the computer changes.

LG
HDR and sync—HDR10, HDR effect; NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, AMD FreeSync Premium, VRR

G-SYNC Compatible and FreeSync Premium match the refresh rate to the graphics card’s frame rate to reduce tearing and stutter. HDR effect is a picture mode that adds HDR-like contrast to SDR content in software; it is not real HDR.

LG
Gaming features—Black Stabilizer, Dynamic Action Sync, crosshair, FPS counter, user-defined key, auto input switch

Black Stabilizer brightens detail in dark scenes; Dynamic Action Sync is a mode that reduces input lag.

LG
PiP—Picture-in-picture (PiP)

PiP shows a second input in a small window over the main picture, for example a PC and a console at the same time. LG does not list PbP (side-by-side split) for this model.

LG
Connections—2 × HDMI, 1 × DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), 1 × USB 3.0 upstream, 2 × USB 3.0 downstream, optical digital audio out (S/PDIF), 4-pole headphone out (sound + mic)

DSC (Display Stream Compression) compresses high-bandwidth signals such as 3440 × 1440 at 240 Hz over DisplayPort 1.4 without visible loss. With the USB upstream connected, the monitor’s USB-A ports act as a hub for the computer. A headset with a mic plugs into the 4-pole jack; DTS Headphone:X adds virtual surround. No built-in speakers are listed.

LG
Stand and mounting—Tilt, height and swivel adjustment; 100 × 100 mm VESA wall mount LG
Lighting and control—Hexagon RGB lighting on the back; remote control; OnScreen Control and Dual Controller software LG
Power—External adapter; 100–240 V; 129 W typical, 160 W max, under 0.5 W in sleep LG
In the box—DisplayPort cable, USB A-to-B cable, remote control

Box contents can vary by country.
