The X-T50 is Fujifilm’s mirrorless camera that puts the same 40.2 MP sensor and X-Processor 5 as the X-T5 into a smaller body without weather sealing. It has 7-stop sensor stabilisation, 6.2K video and a dedicated film simulation dial; the single card slot and small NP-W126S battery are the clearest compromises.
X-T50 body; the silver and black colours share the same hardware. The X-T5, X-T30 II and X-T30 III are separate models.

Fujifilm presents the X-T50 as a compact X-T model with a 40 MP sensor, in-body stabilisation and a film simulation dial. FUJIFILM X
Digital Camera World found photo and video quality on par with the X-H2 and X-T5, writing that the 40 MP sensor handles noise well and the larger grip makes the camera much more comfortable to hold than the X-T30 II. The biggest criticism was the battery: with normal settings and no video, one battery lasted a couple of hours. It also criticised the lack of weather sealing and a second card slot, and the film simulation dial replacing the drive mode dial.
Digital Camera World: Fujifilm X-T50 reviewAll eight reviews on Best Buy Canada are five-star reviews syndicated from Best Buy US and collected as part of a promotion. Common themes are the compact body, being easy to carry everywhere and the film simulations; DaisyA says they use it with a 23 mm lens and Chezzel finds it suitable for beginners. These reviews report no durability problems or faults, but because they are promotional they should not be treated as reliable owner opinion on their own.
