The PG27AQDM is ASUS’s 1440p 240 Hz OLED gaming monitor from 2023, with a WOLED panel, 0.03 ms response time, 1,000-nit HDR peak brightness, factory calibration and a two-year warranty that covers burn-in. Independent testing praised the picture and speed and saw brightness and the matte coating as limits.

ASUS presents the PG27AQDM as an OLED with a custom heatsink and voltage optimisation for higher brightness and burn-in protection. ASUS ROG
Stuff South Africa rated the PG27AQDM the best monitor it had tested: near-infinite contrast, no blooming around bright objects and wide viewing angles stood out, and a factory calibration report came in the box. To the eye the screen did not look as bright as 450 nits, and turning on Uniform Brightness in SDR was recommended so the automatic brightness limiter is less distracting. The aggressive matte coating cuts reflections but reduces clarity in bright rooms. The port selection was a slight disappointment; the stand is sturdy and assembles without a screwdriver.
