Samsung Exynos W930

Samsung’s 5 nm smartwatch processor used in the Galaxy Watch6 series.

According to Samsung, the Exynos W930 has two Cortex-A55 cores at 1.4 GHz and a Mali-G68 MP2 GPU; the CPU is 18% faster than the previous generation.

It has 2 GB of DRAM in the package, 33% more than the previous generation. It is made on a 5 nm process, and FO-PLP and SiP-ePoP packaging combine the power management chip, LPDDR4 memory and eMMC storage in one package.

Samsung Galaxy Watch6 (40 mm)

The Galaxy Watch6 40 mm is the small size of Samsung’s 2023 Wear OS watch. It has a 1.3-inch Super AMOLED display under sapphire crystal, the dual-core Exynos W930 and a 300 mAh battery, plus the BioActive sensor for heart rate, ECG and body composition. Testing praised the performance and run tracking; the most common owner complaint is battery life that needs a charge every day.
