AMD Ryzen AI 9 365

AMD’s 10-core laptop processor with a 50 TOPS NPU from the Ryzen AI 300 series, codenamed Strix Point.

According to AMD it has 4 Zen 5 and 6 Zen 5c cores with 20 threads in total. Maximum boost is 5 GHz, and 3.3 GHz on the Zen 5c cores; it has 10 MB L2 and 24 MB L3 cache. Zen 5c cores are smaller and more efficient and do not reach high clock speeds.

Default TDP is 28 W, and laptop makers can configure it between 15 and 54 W, so the same chip sustains different performance in different chassis. It is made on TSMC 4 nm.

Integrated graphics are the 12-core Radeon 880M. The NPU alone reaches up to 50 TOPS, and CPU, GPU and NPU together up to 73 TOPS. It supports DDR5-5600 and LPDDR5x-8000 memory, PCIe 4.0 and up to two USB4 (40 Gbit/s) controllers; how many USB4 ports a laptop has depends on the maker’s design.
