The iPad (10th generation) is Apple’s fully redesigned base iPad from 2022. It brings a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, A14 Bionic, USB-C, Touch ID in the top button and a landscape front camera. Notebookcheck found battery life and colour accuracy good; the non-laminated display and brightness were noted as weaker points.
iPad (10th generation), Wi-Fi model; 64 GB or 256 GB. The Wi-Fi + Cellular model (481 g, 5G), iPad (9th generation) and iPad (A16) are separate models.

In Notebookcheck’s test the display averaged 468 nits and did not quite reach the 500-nit rating; it went up to 492 nits with manual brightness. Contrast was 953:1, with no PWM flicker or temporal dithering. Because the display is not fully laminated, pen strokes appear to hover above the content, and reflections plus limited brightness reduce readability in bright conditions. The battery lasted almost 11 hours in the Wi-Fi test (150 nits), and a full charge took about 2 hours 45 minutes. In the 3DMark stress test performance dropped about 14% in the first runs and then stayed stable; surface temperatures stayed below 37 °C.
