Owners praise the battery life, maps and GPS most; readability in sunlight, Bluetooth dropouts with iPhones and the bulky case draw criticism.

Amazfit presents the T-Rex 3 as the most capable, longest-lasting outdoor watch in the series. Amazfit US
Almost every owner highlights battery life; reported runtimes range from 6 to 21 days depending on use, several say they did not reach Amazfit’s figures, and two found earlier T-Rex models lasted longer. Maps and navigation, GPS accuracy, heart-rate readings close to a chest strap and the sturdy build are frequently praised; one owner describes using it on multi-day mountain treks. Criticisms are separate: three people said the screen is hard to read in sunlight; one owner reported constant disconnections from an iPhone 15 Pro, and another said some features need the Zepp app kept open on the phone. One owner could not unlock the screen while swimming, one found cycling tracking wrong, and another saw step counts about half of an Apple Watch’s. The large, thick case and the app not allowing route planning on a map were also mentioned. These reports do not indicate a failure rate.
