ProcessorAMD Ryzen 7 8845HS: 8 cores, 16 threads, 3.8 GHz, up to 5.1 GHz, 24 MB cache; AMD XDNA NPU up to 16 TOPS

The NPU is a dedicated unit for running some Windows AI features without loading the CPU or GPU. ASUS also sells this chassis in Ryzen 9 8945H SKUs.

ASUS
Intel Core i7-13650HX; 14 cores (6 P + 8 E), 20 threads, up to 4.9 GHz

HX processors are high-power mobile chips; sustained power and fan noise depend on Lenovo’s power modes.

Lenovo
GraphicsNVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU, 8 GB GDDR6; 1940 MHz at 140 W (1890 MHz boost + 50 MHz OC; 115 W + 25 W Dynamic Boost)

140 W is the maximum GPU power when Dynamic Boost borrows budget from the CPU: 25 W is added to the sustained 115 W depending on load. This laptop GPU is not the same product as the desktop RTX 4060.

ASUS
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU; 8 GB GDDR6; 115 W TGP with the 230 W adapter, 105 W with the 170 W adapter

TGP is the sustained power limit given to the GPU; on the same GPU a higher TGP usually means higher gaming performance. Lenovo ties TGP on this platform to the wattage of the bundled adapter.

Lenovo
Display15.6-inch Full HD (1920 × 1080) 16:9, anti-glare; 144 Hz; 100% sRGB, 72% NTSC, 75.35% Adobe; G-Sync

144 Hz shows motion smoothly when games reach up to 144 frames per second; G-Sync matches refresh to frame rate to reduce tearing. 100% sRGB suits web and game content; it is not a wide-gamut panel.

ASUS
15.6-inch FHD (1920 × 1080) IPS, 144 Hz, 300 nits, 100% sRGB, anti-glare; NVIDIA G-SYNC

144 Hz shows smooth motion up to 144 frames per second in games; G-SYNC matches the refresh to the GPU’s frame rate to reduce tearing.

Lenovo
Graphics switchingMUX Switch + NVIDIA Advanced Optimus

The MUX connects the display directly to the RTX GPU to cut game latency; Advanced Optimus can switch without a restart.

ASUS

MemoryDDR5-5600 SO-DIMM, two slots, dual channel; up to 64 GB (2 × 8 GB or 2 × 16 GB depending on SKU)

The modules are not soldered; going higher means replacing the installed modules. ASUS says memory speed varies by CPU.

ASUS
24 GB DDR5-4800 (2 × 12 GB SODIMM); two slots, up to 32 GB

Memory is not soldered; both slots come filled, so an upgrade means replacing both modules. The 32 GB limit is Lenovo’s platform statement.

Lenovo
Storage512 GB or 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD (by SKU); two M.2 PCIe slots in total

ASUS notes that only single-sided SSDs fit the M.2 slot because of components on the motherboard.

ASUS
1 TB M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 NVMe QLC SSD; two M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 slots

The second M.2 slot allows an extra SSD. QLC flash can slow down sooner than TLC during long, large writes.

Lenovo
Ports1 × USB4 Type-C (40 Gbit/s, DisplayPort), 1 × USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (10 Gbit/s, DisplayPort / power delivery / G-SYNC), 2 × USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A (5 Gbit/s), 1 × HDMI 2.1 FRL, 1 × RJ45, 3.5 mm audio

The USB4 port provides 40 Gbit/s data and video out; G-SYNC is listed only for the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port. The RJ45 port does not support PoE.

ASUS
1 × USB-C 10 Gbps (USB PD 65–100 W input, DisplayPort 1.4); 3 × USB-A 5 Gbps; HDMI 2.1; RJ-45 gigabit Ethernet; 3.5 mm headphone/mic

Charging over USB-C works, but 140 W input needs Lenovo’s own adapter; the slim-tip port remains the main power input for gaming. There is no Thunderbolt or USB4.

Battery and power90 Wh, 4-cell lithium-ion; 240 W adapter (20 V, 12 A, ø6.0 mm)

ASUS says the battery can reach 50% in 30 minutes with the proper adapter while the laptop is off. Whether the adapter is included varies by country; the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port also accepts power.
