3D printing model. 3D solids (ACIS 3DSOLID), 3DFACEs and polyface meshes are turned into a triangle mesh; block inserts and colours are kept. Planes, cylinders, cones, spheres and tori are exact; free-form surfaces are approximated. 2D lines and text are not part of the 3D model. STL uses drawing units and suits 3D-printing slicers.
