Technology glossary
VIDAA is a smart TV platform, an operating system, developed by VIDAA International Holdings B.V. On Hisense televisions it provides the interface and app store.
VIDAA states on its own site that its app store offers over 1,000 options with major apps preinstalled and local channel and streaming services, and that it provides up to eight years of updates. These figures are the platform’s own claims, not a commitment for any specific television.
The version number (for example U9) varies by TV model and market; Hisense’s 65UR9S page gives none. Some markets use Google TV on the same Hisense model family.
