Technology glossary

GeForce RTX 5070 (desktop)

A desktop graphics processor based on NVIDIA Blackwell. It uses 6144 CUDA cores, 12 GB of GDDR7 memory and a 192-bit memory interface.

For the reference design, NVIDIA lists a 2.33 GHz base clock, a 2.51 GHz boost clock, 250 W total graphics power and a 650 W recommended minimum system power. The card is powered through 2 x 8-pin PCIe cables or a 300 W or higher PCIe Gen 5 cable and supports PCI Express Gen 5.

These figures are for the reference design; card makers may use different clock speeds, coolers and power connectors. The RTX 5070 Laptop GPU is a different processor; despite the similar names, desktop and laptop versions are not equivalent. The 12 GB of graphics memory is also not the same pool as system RAM.

NZXT Player Two

A prebuilt gaming desktop sold in NZXT's own H5 Flow case with an Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor and a desktop GeForce RTX 5070 (12 GB). It comes with 32 GB of DDR5-6000 memory, a 2 TB NVMe SSD, 240 mm liquid cooling and a 750 W 80 Plus Gold power supply. With an ATX motherboard and standard-size parts it suits upgrades to the graphics card, memory and storage; however, NZXT's documentation does not name the brand of the motherboard or the graphics card.
