Corning Gorilla Glass 7i
Protective cover glass used above a display panel. It is not the AMOLED panel itself.
Corning reports survival of drops up to one metre onto a surface replicating asphalt and better scratch resistance than the lithium aluminosilicate glasses it compared. These are manufacturer laboratory results, not a guarantee that a particular phone will survive a fall.
The phone frame, glass thickness, impact angle and landing surface affect the outcome. The name 7i is not a Mohs hardness value.
