Bluetooth 6.2

Version 6.2 of the Bluetooth SIG's Bluetooth Core Specification.

According to the Bluetooth SIG overview, this version adds Shorter Connection Intervals, which cut the minimum connection interval from 7.5 ms to 375 us. The SIG says this targets latency-sensitive uses such as gaming, real-time sensing and high-performance input devices.

The same release strengthens secure distance measurement with Channel Sounding against amplitude-based attacks, standardises LE isochronous audio transport over USB and adds a unified test protocol for RF testing.

A device listing "Bluetooth 6.2" does not mean it uses all of these features; the manufacturer decides which are implemented. The SIG overview is a marketing document and does not replace the Core Specification.
