The Galaxy Z Fold6 is Samsung’s book-style foldable phone released in summer 2024. It offers a 6.3-inch outer and 7.6-inch inner display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor, a 4400 mAh battery and IP48 protection. Testing highlighted high brightness on both screens and good battery life. Owners like the light weight and the hinge, and describe the crease on the inner screen, slow charging, camera quality and one case of an inner screen crack.

In GSMArena’s measurements the inner screen reached 786 nits on manual and 1630 nits with auto brightness; the cover screen gave 772 and 1559 nits. In the battery test run on the cover screen the Active Use Score was 13 hours 1 minute: web 10 hours 24 minutes, video 16 hours 53 minutes, gaming 8 hours 43 minutes. With 25 W charging the battery reached 49% in 30 minutes, and a full charge took 1 hour 26 minutes.

SamMoley, Mizu and yar_nov wrote that the crease on the inner screen is noticeable at times; Mikka said wear marks appeared around the hinge from carrying the phone in a pocket. Ankitm noted the phone rocks on a table because of the camera bump, and Gokhan said the narrow cover screen makes one-handed use harder. Swati p wrote that a midday charge may be needed, and yar_nov and RollerRS wanted faster charging and a bigger battery. Makumo, Mizu, yar_nov and IllaTheThrilla found the camera weak. Arsh described the inner screen cracking after 11 months without any external impact and receiving a paid repair quote despite being under warranty (July 2025). Shontu wrote that Smart Switch did not move email accounts.
