In Tom’s Guide’s continuous Wi-Fi web-surfing test at 150 nits the Tab S8 lasted 12 hours 52 minutes; locking the display to 60 Hz only raised this to 12 hours 59 minutes. With a 45W charger it reached 23% in 15 minutes and 45% in 30 minutes. The display measured 480 nits peak in the centre and 463 nits on average, covering 101.1% of sRGB in Natural mode. The included S Pen and performance were praised; the Book Cover Keyboard Slim felt small and cramped, and there is no headphone jack.
